Totally Should’ve Book Tag

Thursday, April 14, 2016

Hello guys, today I decided to do a book tag. This one was created by Emma of emmmabooks.

    1. Totally should’ve gotten a sequel

For this one I'll probably choose The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins. I just think that this book should've gotten a sequel probably due to it's unexpected end, I need more information about how is Rachel holding on, did she made her life up? How was she before, that kind of information.

   2. Totally should’ve had a spin off series

The Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling all the way! I would love to see a spin off about the Marauder, Voldemort and the young Dumbledore's stories.

   3. An author who totally should write more books

Dan Brown! I love Dan Brown and he didn't write anything more after "Inferno" and that breaks my heart. I love all of his books and I just need more of it.

   4. A character who totally should've ended up with someone else

I can't think of any book whose characters shouldn't end up together with someone else, normally they end with the person that I want so I guess I don't have any book for this one.

   5. Totally should've ended differently

Marley and Me: Life and Love With the World's Worst Dog by John Grogan without any doubt. I already seen lots of people saying "The Fault in Our Stars should've ended up differently" and the only book that I can compare to that is this one. It totally broke my heart, and as a dog lover and a dog owner this gave me lots of real feelings.

   6. Totally should've had a movie franchise

James Rollin's books! I haven't read all of them (I already have them all so it's a matter of time), but I think that any of his books should have a movie franchise. It's a mix of adventure, history, romance and mystery and it would give fantastic movies.

   7. Totally should've had a TV show

Maybe Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan. I know that there's two movies about the series (which I personally think that they are good), however, I think that they cut a lot of details that are present in the book and that ended up weakening the story. As said, I would probably enjoy it in a much more constant way if Percy Jackson had a TV show.

   8. Totally should've had only one point of view

Probably A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin. I never finished it (Don't know how, I just got really bored and was never able to finish it), although I don't agree on making only one point of view, I wish that the pov's would decrease because some of them are just unnecessary.

   9. Totally should have a cover change

I'm gonna answer to this one in a different way. I truly believe that the "Sebastian Bergman" series by should have their cover changed to the portuguese versions. The original covers are just awful and the portuguese ones are so pretty and artistic.

   10. Totally should’ve kept the original covers

I have to say it. Every book that has a movie cover, I absolutely HATE them on books, it gives you a pre-defining character which for me ruins the whole imagination behind the book. So whenever I receive one that possesses a movie cover, the cover goes right into the trash.

   11. Totally should've stopped at book one

The Blackthorn Key by Kevin Sands. I read the first book and I didn't like it at all. The book is boring, the story itself doesn't have anything behind it and sometimes I really wondered if Christopher and Master Benedict were having a bromance which is awkward due to the fact that he is so young and the master is a grown up adult. In my opinion this serie should stop right at the book number one, don't even bother to release the second one.

Hope you guys like this tag and tell me what you're answers are in the comments.

  3. I soooo agree with you on the decrease of POV's for Game of Thrones! That was something that made me drop the book, to be honest :/
Also, highfive on movie covers. I don't know who ever had that idea, of having movie posters as book covers but they should take a step back and rethink!!
